Smaller enterprises still seeking help on cyber information sharing

Representatives of organizations of all sizes say smaller entities need more assistance before they can fully take advantage of cyber information-sharing programs designed to bolster cybersecurity across the U.S. economy.

Costs, lack of awareness about cyber programs, cumbersome processes for signing up, a confusing assortment of programs and other issues are causing problems for smaller entities, according to a witness at a House Homeland Security cybersecurity subcommittee hearing on Wednesday.
