Coast Guard advisory panel considers recommendations on info-sharing, vulnerability assessment

The National Maritime Security Advisory Committee kicks off a two-day meeting today to consider recommendations for the U.S. Coast Guard on bolstering information sharing with industry and improving cyber vulnerability assessments within the maritime sector.

The advisory panel will vote on a report containing recommendations on cybersecurity information sharing and feedback from stakeholders on vulnerability assessment within the maritime sector, developed by subcommittees over the past six months.
