CISA urges FCC to work with federal, private sector partners to secure internet routing system vulnerabilities

Addressing vulnerabilities in the Border Gateway Protocol, an internet routing system widely used by IT and communications companies, will require collaboration between government and industry and use of the FCC’s regulatory authorities to ensure mitigations are implemented, according to CISA, which recently submitted comments in response to an FCC notice of inquiry.
