Internet networking providers recommend putting FCC into a convener role for routing protocol security measures

Cloudflare, Juniper Networks, and large internet service providers see an opportunity for the FCC to take on the lead role on securing the Border Gateway Protocol to promote best practices internationally.

The Border Gateway Protocol is an internet routing system which has known vulnerabilities and has been flagged by CISA as a potential security issue that could be exploited in relation to the Ukraine crisis.
