Senior official defends TSA's ability to secure transportation systems against cyber threats

A senior DHS official on Tuesday defended the Transportation Security Administration’s role and capabilities in defending surface transportation such as railroads and pipelines against cyber threats, while acknowledging that TSA relies on the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency for all cyber expertise.
