DHS’ Krebs emphasizes need to bolster auditing, supply-chain security during hearing on elections

Christopher Krebs, the director of the Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, said Wednesday that bolstering auditing abilities is the most pressing area for improvement in election security, while emphasizing CISA's continuing focus on securing the international supply chain involved in the construction of election machines.
