DHS’ new risk management center looks first at crafting cyber strategy for global positioning system

The Department of Homeland Security's new risk management center has identified the Global Positioning System, or GPS, as the first “systemic risk” it will tackle under a mandate to address cross-cutting cybersecurity threats to critical infrastructure, and is focusing first -- in tandem with other government agencies -- on how to build greater resiliency into the technology.
