New profiles based on NIST cyber framework released for DDoS and botnet threats

BALTIMORE, MD. Ari Schwartz -- a former White House cyber director and now a leader of the Coalition for Cybersecurity Policy and Law -- has unveiled botnet and Distributed Denial of Service profiles based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology’s framework of cybersecurity standards, with the work eyed for inclusion in a future NIST publication.
