After months of waiting, Senate waves through bill creating cyber agency at DHS

The Senate late Wednesday passed the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency Act by unanimous consent, finally advancing a long-stalled bill that would rename the Department of Homeland Security’s National Protection and Programs Directorate and elevate it to a cyber agency.
