Revived interagency effort focuses on supply-chain risks possibly leading to new rules

An interagency group of regulators met last week to discuss the cybersecurity risks from contractors and the supply chain for products used by government and industry, an event that highlights the growing concern over supply-chain vulnerabilities from federal policymakers, which could lead to new requirements.
