DHS says two-thirds of agencies have now adopted DMARC email security program

Around two-thirds of federal agencies have adopted a new email security program known as DMARC, according to a DHS official, which appears to show a rise from the compliance rate reported by two independent security firms just after the Jan. 15 deadline for implementation under a binding operational directive.

This number will increase substantially by October 2018, according to the official, who said timelines are in place at 92 percent of federal agencies to implement the Domain Message Authentication Reporting...
