Contracting group warns shutdown imperils federal tech modernization

The government shutdown spurred by a funding stalemate in Congress will have an increasingly dire impact on federal technology modernization, cybersecurity and contractors, according to the Professional Services Council.

“The innovation pipeline that fuels federal tech modernization is at serious risk,” said Tim Brennan, PSC’s vice president of technology policy and government relations. PSC represents providers of tech services to the federal government.
