Senate Commerce Chair Cruz releases AI ‘sandbox’ bill creating safe harbor for developers

Senate Commerce Chairman Ted Cruz (R-TX) has introduced the SANDBOX Act to provide artificial intelligence developers with a regulatory safe harbor for testing and producing AI technologies, in line with an initiative in President Trump’s AI action plan.
