NIST’s Locascio says budget hike will support work on cyber framework update, AI research

NIST Director Laurie Locascio says a proposed bump-up in the agency’s fiscal 2024 budget will allow for “enhanced efforts” on initiatives including the update and dissemination of the cybersecurity framework and increased collaboration with industry in areas like artificial intelligence, during an appearance before the House Science Committee.
