U.S. ‘Five Eyes’ partners release cybersecurity guidance for connected ‘smart cities’

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and federal partners, along with nations in the “Five Eyes” cyber alliance, have released voluntary cyber best practices guidance for securing the interconnections of “smart cities.”

The new 13-page guidance was issued Wednesday by CISA, the National Security Agency, the FBI, the United Kingdom National Cyber Security Centre, the Australian Cybersecurity Centre, the Canadian Centre for Cyber Security, and the New Zealand National Cyber Security Centre.
