Congressional cyber leaders pleased as defense policy bill clears House, heads to Senate

Cyber leaders in Congress and the private sector are offering strong support for the annual defense policy bill approved by the House, saying the legislation will spur progress on multiple cybersecurity fronts.

The House on Thursday approved the fiscal 2023 National Defense Authorization Act on a 350-80 vote and the measure now heads to the Senate for a final vote as soon as next week.
