House Homeland Security reviews global threats as panel leaders urge bipartisanship on cyber in new Congress

The top two leaders of the House Homeland Security Committee, who are both relinquishing their spots at the end of this Congress, emphasized bipartisanship around cybersecurity and key work at CISA at today’s annual worldwide threats hearing.

The hearing featured testimony from Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and National Counterterrorism Center Director Christine Abizaid Director. It came a week before the 20th anniversary of the enactment of post 9/11 legislation establishing DHS.
