U.S. EPA eyes cybersecurity regulation under existing legal authorities; Solarium leader says agency lacks resources, structure

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency says it can use existing regulatory authority to craft new cybersecurity requirements for the water sector, under an approach drawing praise from a senior White House official but raising concerns from a prominent national cyber leader who says it’s likely to fall short.
