TSA updates cybersecurity directive for pipeline operators with enhanced flexibility

The Transportation Security Administration has revised and renewed an emergency directive for cybersecurity in the pipeline sector, emphasizing a “performance-based” approach over specific control requirements.

“This revised directive will continue the effort to build cybersecurity resiliency for the nation’s critical pipelines,” TSA said in a release issued today.
