CISA announces post-quantum computing initiative to align security efforts, flags NIST’s work

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency has announced the “Post-Quantum Cryptography Initiative” in order to “unify and drive agency efforts to address threats posed by quantum computing,” while highlighting “a key milestone” reached this week in NIST’s efforts to develop a standard for use in commercial products.
