FDD’s Montgomery: DOJ criticism of incident reporting bill is off-base, shouldn’t slow passage

The Department of Justice says a Senate-passed cyber incident notification bill is damaging to national security because it leaves out the FBI, but Cyberspace Solarium Commission leader Mark Montgomery says the criticism is misguided and shouldn’t be used to stall legislation establishing a landmark reporting requirement across critical infrastructure sectors.
