NIST seeks comment on report addressing ‘hardware-enabled security’ for cloud, edge computing

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has issued for a comment a report on bolstering platform security through “hardware-enabled security techniques and technologies” as a means of securing data in the cloud and edge computing.

Draft NISTIR 8320 “Hardware-enabled Security: Enabling a Layered Approach to Platform Security for Cloud and Edge Computing Use Cases” was released May 28 and is open for comment through June 30.
