Sources: Commerce supply-chain rulemaking on track, will hit Huawei products

A Commerce Department rulemaking on securing the information and communications technology supply chain is on target for an Oct. 12 release, sources say, and government officials are making clear it will require U.S. companies to remove critical Huawei equipment from their networks in a limited time period.
