Sen. Schumer lays out Democrats’ strategy for advancing elections security legislation

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) tempered reports of a successful takedown of Russian cyber operations aimed at influencing U.S. elections in 2018 by admonishing Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) for ignoring bills on elections security, while laying out the Democrats’ plan to pass legislation in advance of 2020.
