Rep. Langevin unveils defense policy bill; cyber solarium deadline extended

The House version of the annual defense policy bill would extend by one year the deadline for the Cyberspace Solarium Commission to issue recommendations for a national cybersecurity strategy, while also requiring a “report and clarification of roles and responsibilities” on cyber in the Defense Industrial Base and a strategy on next-generation 5G technologies.
