Witnesses to Homeland Security panel: Attach metrics to funding for states’ cybersecurity efforts

Congress should require states vying for federal grants to improve cybersecurity for elections and other systems to include metrics on how they plan to spend the money, according to witnesses at a House Homeland Security subcommittee hearing Tuesday.
