Wicker, as new Senate Commerce chair, says focus will be on data privacy, consumer protection

Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS), preparing to take on the Senate Commerce chairmanship in the new Congress, says he will focus on data privacy and consumer protection issues, while it remains unclear who Democrats will select to serve as Wicker’s counterpart on the panel.
