Water sector sources say concerns unaddressed in EPA cyber plan, criticize lack of collaboration
The water sector expects significant “implementation challenges” as it responds to new U.S. Environmental Protection Agency cybersecurity requirements, according to state and industry officials, some of whom expressed disappointment at what they see as EPA’s unwillingness to collaborate on a workable approach.
“We’ve not seen or heard anything thus far to alleviate our concerns,” Anthony DeRosa of the Association of State Drinking Water Administrators told Inside Cybersecurity.
