Top Senate Democrat calls on Equifax leaders to take steps or resign

Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) today called on the chief executive of Equifax and its board of directors to take a series of steps to mitigate the effects of a massive breach at the consumer credit rating agency -- or otherwise to resign.

Schumer called the steps “common sense” and said, “If Equifax can't commit to them, their leadership's not up to the job and the entire leadership must be replaced.”
