Tech sector sees ‘good start’ in upcoming EU cyber proposal, challenges in certain requirements

The Information Technology Industry Council expects an upcoming European Union cybersecurity proposal to include a combination of flexible risk-based approaches and potentially more “onerous” regulatory requirements, officials from the trade association said at an event Thursday.
