On supply-chain, CISA’s Kolasky sees evolving threat, while DHS CIO Evans calls for better insight into systems

CISA’s Bob Kolasky says supply chains are increasingly a target for destructive attacks rather than a means of illicitly accessing and stealing intellectual property, while urging business leaders to “price security” into their supply-chain decision-making.

Government and industry alike need to sharpen their focus on supply-chain resiliency, according to Kolasky, who leads the collaborative Information and Communications Technology Supply Chain Risk Management Task Force through his role as chief of CISA’s National Risk Management Center.
