Stanford's new cyber center offers a plan, if lawmakers want to act on election security

The fate of congressional election-security efforts remains to be seen, but an in-depth report from Stanford provides a solid list of must-dos for lawmakers and other policy makers, including nuts-and-bolts steps such as mandating paper audit trails as well as addressing needs at the macro level, like producing a credible deterrence policy.
