Sponsors eye pathways into annual defense policy bill for Senate Homeland Security’s cyber measures

Cyber legislation approved by the Senate Homeland Security Committee provides more clarity on what ultimately might be included in the fiscal 2022 National Defense Authorization Act, which has been the prime vehicle for moving cybersecurity bills in recent years but faces constraints due to a short calendar for Senate floor action and for resolving House-Senate differences.
