Sens. Cortez Masto, Risch offer bill creating new program at SBA to help small businesses purchase cyber products

A bill by Sens. Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV) and James Risch (R-ID) would create a program at the Small Business Administration to educate small businesses about cybersecurity products and allow multiple companies to “pool together” to make purchases at a lower cost.

The “SECURE Small Business Act” was reintroduced by the senators on Thursday after failing to advance in the last Congress.
