Senate Homeland Security, Intelligence leaders offer bipartisan bill on ICS security, as House approves measure

The bipartisan leadership of the Senate Homeland Security and Intelligence panels has introduced an industrial control system security bill that matches legislation passed this week in the House to address one of the top vulnerabilities identified by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency.

The Senate bill was introduced Thursday by Homeland Security Chairman Gary Peters (D-MI) and ranking member Rob Portman (R-OH), and Intelligence Chairman Mark Warner (D-VA) and ranking member Marco Rubio (R-FL).
