Senate Banking panel ponders Equifax breach follow-up; bipartisan group continues effort on breach notification

Senate Banking Chairman Mike Crapo (R-ID) today said he is considering possible policy needs raised by the Equifax hack while Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) is holding out hope that a bipartisan working group can produce breach-notification legislation capable of moving through the Senate in the coming months.
