Sen. Wyden urges Cyber Safety Review Board, FTC and DOJ to investigate Microsoft security practices

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) is urging CISA Director Jen Easterly “to exercise [her] shared authority” and direct the Cyber Safety Review Board to launch an inquiry into a government email compromise flagged in a recent CISA-FBI alert, saying the incident highlights issues with Microsoft’s security practices that go back to the 2020 SolarWinds compromise and earlier.
