Sen. Warner leads group on bill requiring incident reports from critical infrastructure operators

Senate Intelligence Chairman Mark Warner (D-VA), ranking member Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME) today formally introduced legislation requiring critical infrastructure operators, government agencies and contractors to report within 24 hours of discovering a cyber intrusion, a measure inspired by the SolarWinds and Colonial Pipeline hacks, the senators said.
