Sen. Warner cites China challenges on 5G, artificial intelligence in call for stronger public-private partnerships

Senate Intelligence ranking member Mark Warner (D-VA) says challenges from China on 5G and artificial intelligence, and emerging threats related to the Internet of Things, underscore the need for tighter government-industry collaboration and for federal officials to “put up real money” to help develop U.S. capacity in areas like semiconductor manufacturing.
