Sen. Manchin kicks off process to move energy bill with grid security elements; industry backs cyber incentives

Senate Energy and Natural Resources Chairman Joe Manchin (D-WV) has launched his effort to move an energy infrastructure bill that includes grid security elements, while industry is weighing in with support for electricity rate-based incentives for cybersecurity steps by utilities under federal jurisdiction.
