Sen. Johnson: CISA subpoena power on the agenda for homeland security panel markup next week

The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee will mark up legislation next week that would give CISA the power to subpoena Internet Service Providers for network vulnerability information -- addressing a top priority for the agency, the committee chairman said at a hearing today.

“I’m quite sure that piece of legislation is on our markup next week,” Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI) said. “Hopefully that passes with strong bipartisan support and then we figure out some way to wind it...
