SEC strategic plan includes bolstering its own data security, meeting market demand for info on companies’ cyber practices

The Securities and Exchange Commission, which is pursuing a closely watched cyber regulation for public companies, says providing investors with information on firms’ cybersecurity efforts and updating and securing its own systems are among the top priorities under a new strategic plan.
