Rep. Luetkemeyer says new Treasury fintech report should boost data-breach legislation

A new report released Tuesday by the Treasury Department highlights the need for a national consumer data-breach notification standard, according to House Financial Services financial institutions and consumer credit subcommittee Chairman Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO), who has been trying to advance such legislation since last year.
