Rep. Lofgren's election-security bill sets extensive cyber requirements for vendors

The election-security bill moving today in the House Administration Committee contains cybersecurity requirements comparable to those faced by other critical-infrastructure sectors, but the Democratic measure faces opposition from Republicans who say they were left out of the drafting process.
