Private sector, regulatory roles on the table at NIST's workshop on IoT security and botnets

It’s too early to tell what the best regulatory approach will be for securing the connected web of devices known as the Internet of Things, according to one senior former official, who said today’s IoT workshop at NIST headquarters is part of an encouraging trend of pulling together related efforts on the topic.
