Privacy advocate: Botnet report a win for consumers on liability, law enforcement issues

The Trump administration’s botnet report is getting support from civil society leaders for acknowledging the responsibility of industry, in addition to consumers, for alleviating the threat, but agreement between digital-rights and industry groups on how to implement certification or labeling programs remains hard to reach.
