One year after siege, U.S. Capitol Police chief details a playbook for physical security that tracks with cyber best practices

U.S. Capitol Police chief Thomas Manger is leading reforms in the aftermath of the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the Capitol that focus on better intelligence gathering and sharing, training, joint exercises, incident response planning and beefed-up staffing, all of which are aimed at countering a physical threat but might have been lifted from the latest set of cybersecurity best practices for organizations.
