Officials, lawmakers underscore cyber risks at Senate hearing on replacing ‘legacy’ IT systems

Cybersecurity issues related to outdated “legacy” IT systems at the Department of Homeland Security were a running theme at a Senate Homeland Security subcommittee hearing with representatives from DHS and two of its component agencies, and a Government Accountability Office official.
