NIST seeks comment on components for zero trust architecture strategy

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has issued for comment a special publication on zero trust architecture, including deployment models, use cases and a roadmap for organizations to use in implementing a “ZTA” approach.

“Draft Special Publication (SP) 800-207, Zero Trust Architecture ... discusses the core logical components that make up a zero trust architecture (ZTA) network strategy,” according to NIST, which released the document on Monday. NIST will accept comments through Nov. 22.
