NIST’s ‘roadmap’ for AI risk management framework foresees extensive industry engagement on security issues

NIST’s new Artificial Intelligence Risk Management Framework comes with a “roadmap” that identifies ten potential areas for collaboration with industry, including on security-related topics and approaches to developing risk tolerances.

“Work described in the Roadmap is intended to help fill gaps in knowledge, practice, or guidance and be useful to a broader audience in pursuit of trustworthy and responsible AI. Roadmap activities will change as AI technologies and experience evolve,” according to the AI RMF roadmap.
